St John's Hall is a modern hall (7m x 4.5m). situated in the grounds of St John's Church on the corner of Theobalds Park Road and Strayfield Road. Built to blend in with the church, it provides an extremely attractive and comfortable venue. The hall is located in one corner of a large glebe field.
Uses
St John's Hall (capacity: 30 seated) is suitable for a range of activities, including meetings, clubs, quiet days, receptions, and small musical or dramatic workshops. Quiet activities, which will not disturb our very near neighbours, can be extended outdoors into the large grassed area adjacent to the Hall
Amenities
There is a very small kitchenette (no oven), and two toilets, one of which is for disabled access.There are a number of scenic walks in the area of the church.There are three traditional country pubs, the Rose & Crown is situated five minutes' walk from the church and The Plough in nearby Crews Hill and the King & Tinker are a short drive away
Transport
St John's Church is approximately 1km from Crews Hill and Gordon Hill Stations, from which there are approximately three trains per hour during the day into and out of London.Parking is available in the streets around the church, and a small number of spaces within the church grounds.
