St Luke's is a large and
impressive late-Victorian church,
which stands in a prominent position at the
corner of
Phipps Hatch Lane, with Browning Road north
Enfield
opposite Hilly Fields Park,
and near to the
Lancaster Road shopping
area.
Uses
St Luke’s nave is 30m x 14m and provides a very
large space (capacity: 200
standing. 200 seated), with
enormous potential to be
used for a wide range of
activities, including
concerts, plays,
exhibitions, conferences and public meetings.
The furniture in the central nave of the church
can all be moved and/or re-configured, so as to
provide the maximum flexibility. In addition,
there are several smaller rooms available for
meetings or break out group
Amenities - Refectory
There is a fully equipped kitchen and refectory
area
(capacity 25 standing, 25 seated),and two toilets,
one of which is designed for disabled access.
A traditional country pub, the Rose and Crown, is
situated five minutes’ walk from St Luke’s,
through Hilly Fields Park.
Transport
Parking is available in the streets around the
church.
St Luke's Church is approximately 0.5km from
Gordon Hill station from which there are
approximately three trains per hour during the
day into and out of London. The church is also 5
minutes walk from two bus services.
